Poland wins 76 medals at World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu

Polish athletes achieved significant success at the World Masters Athletics Championships held in Daegu, South Korea. The delegation secured a total of 76 medals, consisting of 37 gold, 21 silver, and 18 bronze.

The championships, which saw over 11,200 participants from 106 countries, featured a wide range of disciplines including sprints, middle and long-distance running, hurdles, race walking, jumps, and throwing events. Notable performances were recorded in running, race walking, and throwing competitions, though Polish athletes also reached the podium in jumping and relay events.

One of the standout performers for the Polish team was Ewelina Brzezina, who earned five gold medals in the W35 category.
