Poland wins bronze at U-20 Water Polo European Championships

The Polish men's under-20 water polo team has secured the bronze medal at the European Championship Division I tournament held in Oeiras, Portugal.

After a strong group stage performance that included victories over Portugal, Lithuania, and Finland, the team finished second in Group B. This placement earned them a spot in the semifinals, where they faced Israel. Although the Polish side led 10:6 in the second half, Israel staged a comeback to tie the match at 11:11 before eventually securing a victory.

Following the semifinal loss, Poland faced Belgium in the third-place match. The Polish team emerged victorious after a penalty shootout, clinching the bronze medal.
