Poland wins European volleyball championship under coach Nikola Grbić

Poland has defended its European volleyball title, led by head coach Nikola Grbić, who was named the tournament's best coach. The victory marks Grbić's fifth gold medal with the Polish national team and continues a streak of ten consecutive medals in ten competitions for the squad.

Wilfredo Leon was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP). The championship's ideal lineup also featured Polish players Jakub Popivčak (libero), Bartłomiej Lemanski, and Szymon Jakubiak (middle blockers), alongside Leon and Finland's Noa Marttila as best attackers.

In the semifinals, France defeated Finland 3-1 to secure a spot in the final against Poland. France's Theo Fournier stood out with a dominant performance, including 20 points in a single set. Finland will compete for the bronze medal against Slovenia.
