Poland women's junior handball team splits series with Austria

The Polish women's junior national handball team, led by coach Monika Cholewa, completed a two-match friendly series against Austria in Szczyrk.

In the first match on October 22, Poland suffered a narrow 19:20 defeat. Despite a competitive first half and a late push to close the gap, Austria secured the win with a goal in the final 33 seconds.

Poland responded strongly in the second match on October 23, winning 30:25. Jagoda Tobolewska led the scoring for the Polish side with 11 goals. The training camp, which included players such as Natalia Wąs, served as preparation for the team following similar friendly matches against Iceland earlier in the year.
