Godsmack draws 700,000 fans at Poland's Pol'and'Rock Festival
On July 30, American rock band Godsmack headlined the 32nd edition of the Pol'and'Rock Festival in Czaplinek, Poland. The free‑entry event attracted an estimated 700,000 attendees, making it one of the largest single‑day audiences in the festival’s history.
Frontman Sully Erna posted a video message praising the festival’s scale and its charitable model. He highlighted that the festival’s proceeds above the operating costs are donated to children’s hospitals, a practice he described as “honorable.” Erna also thanked festival founder Jurek Owsiak for organizing the event and noted the deep, mile‑long crowd that filled the grounds.
The performance marked a milestone for Godsmack, who said they had never witnessed such a massive audience, and underscored the festival’s role in supporting healthcare charities across Europe.
