Poland's Central Communication Port (CPK) takes control of additional land, owners have 30 days to volunteer

The Central Communication Port (CPK) in Poland has received 62 voluntary land‑sale statements covering 101 parcels and a total of 28.5 hectares. Owners who agree to relinquish their property will receive an extra 5 % compensation and have a 30‑day deadline to submit their decision.

The eastern hub area, earmarked for a new road‑rail junction, spans 212 hectares; CPK has already acquired 85.2 hectares, representing roughly 40 % of the land needed for the project. The acquisition does not yet trigger expropriation, which will only begin after the final localisation decision is confirmed. The programme includes a new airport, high‑speed rail network, roads, a logistics centre and an Airport City, to be built in the municipalities of Baranów and Grodzisk Mazowiecki in the Masovian region. Prime Minister Donald Tusk referenced the progress at a press conference in Brussels.
