Poland's CKE announces 2026 retake and 2027 matura exam schedules

The Central Examination Commission (CKE) has released schedules and guidelines for upcoming secondary school exit exams (matura) in Poland.

For the 2026 retake session, students who failed only one mandatory subject may sit for exams on August 24 for written components and August 25 for oral components. Results for these retakes are expected by September 11, 2026.

The 2027 exam cycle will feature a new subject, Business and Management, scheduled for May 21. The main session for 2027 is set to run from May 4 to May 31, with a supplementary session for health or unforeseen circumstances occurring in early June, and retakes scheduled for late August.
