Poland's Defence Group PGZ Expands R&D Partnerships

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) signed a framework agreement with the Centre for Ship Technology (CTO) in Gdańsk to provide joint research and development services. The cooperation covers maritime technology, ship systems, material engineering, hydromechanics and acoustics, and aims to accelerate projects for the Polish armed forces, international customers and civilian markets.

At the same time, PGZ concluded a cooperation pact with the Pomorská Specialna Strefa Ekonomiczna (PSSE) during the Regional Forum of the Polish Defence Industry in Gdynia. The agreement seeks to support companies operating in the defence sector, strengthen the domestic supply chain, attract new investments and foster innovation as part of the national SAFE programme. Both deals are intended to boost Poland’s defence industry capabilities and its competitiveness abroad.
