Poland's e-Doręczenia Reaches 100 Million Shipments, Now Available via mObywatel App

Poland's e-Doręczenia electronic delivery service has surpassed 100 million shipments, with more than 50 million sent since the start of 2026. The service provides a digital equivalent of a registered letter with receipt confirmation and is used by citizens, businesses and public institutions.

From 1 July 2026 the service was integrated into the mObywatel mobile application, allowing users to access their e‑Doręczenia inbox on their phones; in the first weeks over 600 000 messages were processed. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski said, “a year ago we spoke of a transition period, today we speak of 100 million shipments,” highlighting the growing role of digital correspondence. The hybrid delivery model is operated by Poczta Polska, and legislative amendments to the electronic delivery law are being prepared to further streamline the system.
