Poland's Enea rolls out dynamic electricity tariffs for home consumers

Polish energy supplier Enea has launched new dynamic‑price electricity offers aimed at residential customers. One plan provides dynamic rates for users of home‑based energy storage with no trading fee, while the "Dynamic Prices MAX" product targets households that cannot install a storage system but still want variable pricing.

Analysts note that dynamic tariffs are used by only a few thousand households in Poland – about 4,800 in 2025, representing 0.03 % of individual consumers and 0.05 % of total electricity use. Adoption remains low because most homes lack remote‑read meters, consumer awareness is limited, and some suppliers do not cap maximum prices. Experts suggest making the variable network fee flexible hour‑by‑hour, similar to energy consumption charges, to improve the attractiveness of dynamic tariffs for high‑usage customers such as those with heat pumps, air‑conditioners or electric vehicles.
