Poland's first women's firefighting team debuts at European Championships

The first-ever Polish women's firefighting team competed in the European Firefighting Sport Championships held in Ostrava from August 19 to 22. The team, representing the Central School of the State Fire Service (Centralna Szkoła PSP), included Kinga Chrapek from OSP Hażlach.

Competing against seven of the best teams in Europe, the squad participated in high-stakes events such as the 4 x 100 meter obstacle relay and combat exercises. Despite the pressure of their debut on such a large stage, the team finished 5th in the overall team classification. The school noted that while errors occurred due to the intensity of the competition, the experience serves as a foundation for future success.
