Poland’s Kalwaria Pacławska Hosts 39th Franciscan Youth Meeting with 700 Participants

From 19 to 25 July 2026, Kalwaria Pacławska in southeastern Poland will host the 39th Franciscan Youth Meeting, the country’s oldest youth festival organized by the Franciscans. About 700 young people from across Poland are expected to attend. The week’s theme, “Harmony”, underscores the organisers’ aim to celebrate diversity within the Church.

The programme combines daily Eucharist celebrations, worship services and conferences with workshops, sports competitions, evening social events and concerts. Musical performances will include CUKIER, Maja Sowińska, Kuba Piechnikz, the band Fioretti and folk group Kapela Skleroza. Guest speakers such as psychologist Marta Miłuńska and Greek‑Catholic priest Paweł Potoczny will share experiences of faith and personal life. Organisers stress that the event is intended both as a religious retreat and a communal vacation where participants can build lasting relationships and deepen their faith.
