Poland's KOWR launches agricultural land lease tenders in Nowa Brzeźnica and Brody

The Rural Development Agency (KOWR) organised a public oral tender on 16 June 2026 for the lease of municipal agricultural lands in Gmina Nowa Brzeźnica. Eight entities were admitted to bid on 20 parcels, but no offers were received, so the tender ended with a negative result.

Separately, KOWR is preparing a 10‑year lease of a 33.5‑hectare green‑land parcel (plot 166/3) in the village of Janiszowice, Gmina Brody, Lubusz Voivodeship. The annual rent is set at 129.66 decitonnes of wheat per hectare (about 3.87 dt/ha). The property lies within the protected landscape “Dolina Nysy”, overlays documented brown‑coal deposits, and abuts water bodies, imposing environmental, mining and water‑law obligations on the future lessee. The tender is to be announced in a separate notice.
