Poland's Martyna Czyrniańska sidelined with muscle injury as Women's Volleyball Nations League continues

The Czech women's volleyball team rebounded from a recent loss to Poland by defeating Belgium 3‑0 in the Nations League, with Helena Grozer scoring 15 points. The Czech side will next face Thailand in Nanjing.

Poland's national team has won its first three matches of the tournament, including a 3‑0 victory over the Czech Republic. However, the Polish Volleyball Federation confirmed that outside hitter Martyna Czyrniańska suffered a muscle problem and will miss several weeks of competition. She is expected to be replaced by Paulina Damaske. Poland's next fixtures are against China in Nanjing, followed by matches in Bangkok against Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Netherlands and Canada.
