Poland's Minister of Science promotes higher education at Warsaw Salon
At the 20th edition of the Warsaw High School Salon held at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Minister of Science and Higher Education Marcin Kulasek emphasized the long-term benefits of pursuing university studies. He noted that higher education facilitates better job placement, personal fulfillment, and higher earnings.
Addressing demographic shifts, Kulasek highlighted that while Poland currently faces a surge of high school graduates, universities will soon face a period of declining enrollment. He also addressed the global issue of student drop-out rates. To assist students in making informed decisions, the Ministry of Science, in collaboration with OPI PIB, has launched the 'Economic Fates of Graduates' (ELA) platform. This portal provides data on 7 million graduates, detailing their employment status and earnings to help students align their studies with their interests and predispositions.
