Poland's Ministry of Digitisation funds 230 million zł Cybersecurity Operational Center

The Ministry of Digitisation, together with the NASK institute, will receive 230 million zł from the EU's Digital Development Fund to establish the Joint Cybersecurity Operational Centre (PCOC). The centre will coordinate national CSIRTs, special services and other entities of the national cyber‑security system, enabling faster information exchange, threat analysis and response during incidents. The grant aims to support roughly 30,000 organisations, enhancing tools for threat detection, DDoS protection and incident reporting. Additional funding of 30 million zł is earmarked for satellite‑signal services, benefitting the Main Office of Geodesy and Cartography. The programme, part of the 2021‑2027 EU Digital Development initiative, covers up to 100 % of eligible costs, with EU contributions close to 90 %. Applications are accepted non‑competitively until 30 September 2026.
