Poland's mObywatel app reaches 12 million users

The Polish government’s digital platform mObywatel has grown to 12 million active users, up from 5.7 million at the end of 2023, effectively doubling its user base in the past 2½ years. During this period the app added 89 new services, documents and functions, bringing the total to 47 available tools. By the end of June an additional 11 features are scheduled for release, reinforcing its position as the most widely used government app in the European Union.

Key functions driving adoption include the digital driver’s licence, used by 6.8 million people, and the "My Vehicles" module, accessed by 4.5 million users to retrieve data on roughly 9 million cars. Users have checked traffic‑point penalties 31 million times, viewed vehicle history over 10 million times, and employed the PESEL‑lock service for personal security more than 8 million times.
