Poland's National Firefighters Championship Showcases Speed and Strength
The 6th annual Polish Championship for the title of "Toughest Firefighter" took place over two days in front of the Podkarpacki Provincial Office in Rzeszów. Nearly 200 participants from across the country competed on a demanding obstacle course designed to simulate real‑life firefighting scenarios. Contestants wore full combat gear and breathing apparatus while tackling tasks that required speed, agility, strength and precise teamwork.
The competition featured individual events on the first day and team relays, mixed‑gender tandems and squad challenges on the second. The demanding format highlighted the physical conditioning and stress resilience required of modern firefighters. Results and podium placements were posted on the event’s official Facebook page.
