Polish public libraries host a series of children's reading and educational events
On 24 June 2026 the primary school in Żabi Róg held a "Reading on the Meadow" event organized with the Municipal Library in Morąg. The day featured VR goggles, a comic zone, quizzes, a 3‑D‑printed key‑ring workshop and science shows, funded by the Ministry of Culture’s Culture Promotion Fund.
From 19 June to early June 2027 the "Night in the Library" programme took place in Pielgrzymowice, where students stayed overnight among books, attended workshops on self‑awareness led by psychologist Dominika Pifczyk, and solved an emotional escape‑room puzzle.
The municipal library in Dąbrowa Tarnowska announced the annual "Summer in the Library" series for children aged 7‑14. Eight free sessions in July will explore the Solar System with readings, art activities, interactive games and technology‑based workshops.
During the 25th National Children’s Reading Week, the library in Ruda hosted a live ecology lesson for two preschool groups. Senator Henryk Siedlaczek presented the story "Penguin Pingo's Unbearable Trash in the Oceans" using the Japanese Kamishibai theatre, sparking discussion on ocean pollution and environmental responsibility.
