Poland's Samorządowy Szlak Wodny restores direct ferry to Świnoujście
From 1 August 2026 the municipal waterway service in the West Pomeranian region will run direct ferry connections to the coastal resort of Świnoujście, after passenger feedback called for the change. The new timetable adds longer layovers, giving travelers up to six hours on the beach, a promenade walk or city sightseeing.
Two main routes will operate: Szczecin – Stepnica – Trzebież – Świnoujście, and Nowe Warpno – Świnoujście, with several daily departures. The adjustments were announced by Starosta of Powiat Policki, Shivan Fate, who said the schedule was designed together with residents to improve the holiday experience and provide a convenient alternative to road travel during peak summer traffic.
