Poland infrastructure: Municipalities launch various road and transport projects

Various municipalities across Poland are advancing significant road and infrastructure projects. In Namysłów, construction has begun on a 5.1 km bypass costing 103 million PLN, with approximately 72 million PLN provided by EU funding. The project aims to divert heavy transit traffic from the city center to improve safety and reduce noise.

In Suwałki, several road investments are underway, including the reconstruction of Wylotowa and Kolejowa streets and the expansion of roads in the Zastawie estate. Additionally, an agreement was signed for the reconstruction of Zastawie Street and the expansion of Artyleryjska Street.

Other regional developments include the application for an environmental decision regarding the Jegłownik bypass on the DK22 route, and the signing of a contract for a new bypass and bridge in Miedzna Drewniana. In Bytom, a contract worth 7.4 million PLN was signed to build a transport hub in Stroszek. In Garwolin, plans are moving forward for a modular shelter near a primary school to serve as both a civil defense facility and educational space.

Local governments are also managing smaller-scale works, such as road modernizations in Janów, Ustków, and Gorzupa, and street improvements in Polkowice, Kutno, and Słupsk.
