Polaris expands free bulky‑waste and textile collection sites in Romanian coastal cities

Polaris Mediu Năvodari, together with the Năvodari City Hall, has set up a permanent free collection point for bulky waste on Strada Uzinei 1. Residents can drop off items such as sofas, wardrobes, mattresses and doors daily from 07:00 to 12:00, while household waste, construction debris, e‑waste and recyclable materials are excluded.

Polaris M Holding, in partnership with the Constanța City Hall, operates a network of permanent containers for free textile recycling across Constanța. Citizens may deposit used clothing, footwear, linens and other textiles at more than twenty locations, including public squares, schools, hospitals and transport hubs. The programme aims to increase separate collection, divert textiles from municipal waste streams and support environmental protection in the region.
