Polaris Renewable Energy renews share buyback program

Polaris Renewable Energy Inc. has announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted its notice of intention to renew its normal course issuer bid (NCIB). The company's Board of Directors stated that the program is an appropriate use of available free cash to increase shareholder value.

Under the new twelve-month period running from August 27, 2026, to August 26, 2027, Polaris may purchase up to 2,021,205 of its common shares, which represents approximately 10% of its public float. The Board has initially limited the repurchase to 176,872 shares.

All shares purchased through this program will be cancelled. Under the previous NCIB period, the company repurchased a total of 134,050 shares at a weighted-average price of $12.04 per share.
