Polaris shares surge after Q3 earnings beat and raised guidance
Polaris Inc. reported third-quarter 2026 results that exceeded market expectations, leading to a more than 9% increase in its stock price. The off-road and powersports vehicle manufacturer reported revenue of $2.04 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 9.7% to 11%.
Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) reached $1.08, significantly surpassing the consensus analyst estimate of $0.59. This performance was bolstered by a $10 million one-time benefit from tariff refunds, which added $0.13 to the EPS. The company also reported an adjusted EBITDA of $180 million, beating estimates of $145.1 million.
Driven by higher shipments of snowmobiles, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles, the Powersports business saw sales rise 18% to $1.82 billion. Polaris noted it has gained off-road vehicle market share for six consecutive quarters.
Following these results, Polaris raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a midpoint of $7.58 billion and increased its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to approximately $3.50 to $3.55.
