Polat Piyalepaşa Çarşı and Karşıyaka Launch Free June Cultural Programs

Polat Piyalepaşa Çarşı in Istanbul will host a series of free June activities that combine art, entertainment and learning for families. From June 6 to 28, the schedule includes workshops such as mosaic, wind‑turbine building, painting, and a Smurfs show on June 13, along with science parties, magic shows and other interactive events.

Meanwhile, the Karşıyaka district of İzmir, under its “Open‑Air City Museum” initiative, is offering guided cultural tours that are fully free and have attracted more than 200 participants. The tours run twice a week, covering historic sites, monuments, and local architecture, with QR‑code support for an interactive experience. All tours are booked out through the end of June.

Both programs are part of municipal efforts to make cultural experiences accessible to the public during the summer month.
