Polda Banten foils 11kg marijuana smuggling attempt via courier

The Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) successfully intercepted a smuggling attempt involving approximately 11 kilograms of suspected marijuana. The drugs were being transported via an expedition service from Kosambi District in Tangerang Regency.

Following the discovery of ten packages containing the substance, authorities utilized a ‘control delivery’ technique in coordination with the courier service to monitor the shipment. The package was tracked to a warehouse in Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Upon arrival at the warehouse on Thursday, October 8, two individuals, identified by the initials AS and MF, attempted to collect the shipment. Both men have been detained and named as suspects in the investigation.
