Polestar and Volkswagen electric SUV models revealed in leaks
Leaked images and videos have provided early looks at two upcoming electric vehicle models from Polestar and Volkswagen.
Leaked photographs of the Polestar 4 SUV reveal a design that includes a traditional rear window, addressing feedback from owners of the current Polestar 4 coupé, which utilizes a rear-mounted camera and digital rearview mirror instead. The SUV features a flatter roofline and a more squared-off tailgate compared to the coupé. It is expected to offer a range of up to 630 km (WLTP) with a 94 kWh battery. The official world premiere is scheduled for September 2, with customer deliveries anticipated in early 2027.
Separately, early footage and images of the Volkswagen ID. Tiguan have surfaced via social media. The vehicle is intended to succeed the ID. 4 and ID. 5 models. While the cars shown are covered in yellow camouflage, they appear to feature new headlight and taillight designs, redesigned bumpers, and traditional door handles rather than the semi-hidden handles found on previous ID. models. Volkswagen is expected to officially unveil the ID. Tiguan later this year.
