Polestar expands European electric vehicle charging subscription

Polestar has expanded its Polestar Charge service, providing electric vehicle owners in Europe with access to over 1.25 million public charging points through a single subscription, card, or smartphone app. The service is available to owners of both new and official pre-owned Polestar vehicles and includes access to the Tesla Supercharger network.

The company has introduced a tiered subscription model to offer varying levels of savings on fast charging. The new ‘Plus’ tier is designed for occasional users, offering a 15 percent discount across selected networks for a monthly fee. The ‘Pro’ tier is aimed at frequent travelers, providing a 30 percent discount across several fast-charging networks, including Ionity.

Technical features include Plug & Charge compatibility for certain vehicles and the ability to filter for Polestar Charge stations within Google Maps navigation. The expansion aims to create a more convenient and affordable charging ecosystem for drivers across the continent.
