Polestar expands European energy services and retail presence
Polestar is expanding its energy services and physical retail presence in Europe. Through the Polestar Energy initiative, the Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer is introducing smart, managed charging to help stabilize local power grids and reduce costs for owners. In partnership with Octopus Energy, the company is extending grid incentives to Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. In Italy, customers using Polestar Energy with an Octopus Energy contract can potentially save up to 30% on energy costs through automated intelligent charging.
Simultaneously, Polestar has officially entered the Latvian market with the opening of its first showroom at Mūsa Motors Rīga. The new location will showcase models such as the Polestar 4 and Polestar 3, with plans to introduce the Polestar 5 in early 2025. The showroom will also provide maintenance and repair services, supported by a regional spare parts center located in Gothenburg.
