Polestar unveils Polestar 5 performance electric GT
Polestar has introduced the Polestar 5, a new flagship performance GT coupé-limousine designed to compete with luxury electric vehicles such as the Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron GT, and Lucid Air.
Distinguishing itself from its parent company Volvo’s family-oriented models, the Polestar 5 features a minimalist Scandinavian design. A notable technical feature is the absence of a traditional rear window; instead, the manufacturer utilizes an extended panoramic roof and a digital rearview mirror to maintain a sleek roofline and increase rear passenger space.
The Polestar 5 Dual Motor is priced starting at 118,600 euros in Germany and is capable of producing up to 884 horsepower. The interior is configured as a four-seater, though it includes an option for an additional middle seat. High-end features for rear passengers include individually adjustable seats with options for heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
