Poli Timișoara defeats Concordia Chiajna 5-1 in Liga 2

In a Liga 2 match, Poli Timișoara secured a dominant 5-1 victory against Concordia Chiajna. The standout performer was 18-year-old midfielder Ianis Doană, who scored four goals during the match, including a hat-trick completed within a 19-minute span in the first half.

Doană, who joined Poli Timișoara this summer after leaving Dinamo, opened the scoring in the 4th minute, followed by goals in the 19th and 23rd minutes. Aurelian Chițu added a fifth goal for the visiting side. George Ganea scored the lone goal for Concordia Chiajna.

Following this result, Poli Timișoara has moved up to second place in the league standings with 10 points, trailing leaders CSM Slatina.
