Policía Estatal de Querétaro detains suspects in Pedro Escobedo

The State Police of Querétaro (POES) carried out two separate preventive operations in the municipality of Pedro Escobedo. In the community of San Fandila, officers detained a man with an active arrest warrant for cattle theft (abigeato) after confirming the warrant through the Plataforma México system. The individual was placed in the custody of the Fiscalía General del Estado de Querétaro for further investigation.

During an alcohol‑testing (Alcoholímetro) operation, police stopped a driver who tested positive for alcohol. A check of his records revealed an outstanding warrant for culpable homicide. He was also taken into custody and handed over to the same state prosecutor’s office.
