In Denmark, Bornholms Politi conducted speed checks on Stavsdalvej in Østerlars, resulting in ten vehicles being cited for speeding. The highest recorded speed was 62 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

In Norway, members of the Royal Family, including Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, have visited King Harald V at Rikshospitalet. The King has been hospitalized for ten days following a medical examination on August 17.
