Police aid families after transport emergencies in Slovakia and Poland

On the R1 highway in Slovakia, highway police stopped a breakdown, escorted a mother and her nine‑month‑old baby to safety and later received a thank‑you note from the grateful father.

At Warsaw West railway station in Poland, a five‑year‑old German girl was left on the platform when her parents placed her beside luggage and the train doors closed. Police patrols arrived, secured the child and returned her to her parents without injury.
