Police Arrest Auto Thief Who Stole ₹3 Lakh Worth of Jewelry in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh

In the Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh, a woman travelling by auto rickshaw had jewelry worth about ₹3 lakh taken from her purse. Police quickly traced the suspect, a female thief, using CCTV footage and eyewitness information. Within hours the suspect was intercepted at Muraina railway station as she attempted to board a train to another city. Officers recovered the stolen gold ornaments from her possession.

The police have begun questioning the suspect to determine if she acts alone or is part of an organized theft ring. Authorities have advised passengers, especially women, to remain vigilant and safeguard personal belongings while using public transport.
