Police arrest drug suspect Yuwanky at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

Indonesian National Police (Bareskrim Polri) arrested Yuwanky, a fugitive wanted for alleged drug trafficking, at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on August 27, 2026. Yuwanky, originally from Selatpanjang, Riau, was apprehended at Terminal 3 shortly after arriving on a flight from Singapore.

Yuwanky is identified as the owner of the Planet Batam nightlife venue, which is suspected of being involved in the distribution of various types of narcotics. He allegedly operated the distribution network alongside another suspect, Basri Lemaiwang.

Following the arrest, authorities have begun investigating assets linked to the criminal activity. This includes the seizure of a luxury residence in the Sukajadi area of Batam Kota and several high-value vehicles, including a Ferrari.
