Police arrest four suspects in connection with multiple burglaries

Four men from Vác have been arrested following a series of burglaries in Nagymaros and Szentendre. The suspects are accused of stealing a total of seven million forints through two separate incidents.

On the night of September 11, the group allegedly broke into a fuel depot in Nagymaros, where they stole 4.5 million forints in cash from a sales counter. On October 2, the group targeted a business in Szentendre, forcing open a warehouse door and stealing a safe containing 2.5 million forints. During the second incident, they also attempted to break into a nearby shop.

Following a coordinated effort by the Vác, Szentendre, and Dunakeszi police departments, the suspects were apprehended in Göd while traveling in a grey vehicle. Police recovered 2.5 million forints during the vehicle search. The suspects, identified as Roland K. (28), Tamás M. (43), Gergő K. (36), and Norbert K. (40), have been questioned regarding multiple counts of theft, and their arrest has been ordered by the court.
