Police arrest individuals in separate incidents in Brazil

In Apucarana, a 27-year-old man was arrested after drawing the attention of Military Police in Jardim Menegazzo. Officers observed him pretending to repair a motorcycle in a manner that appeared suspicious and lacked mechanical skill. While a personal search yielded no illegal items and the vehicle documentation was in order, a system check revealed an active arrest warrant for drug trafficking and a suspended voter registration. The man was taken to the Department of Penal Police.

In Botucatu, a 32-year-old man was caught in the act of theft after breaking into a commercial establishment on Avenida Deputado Brás de Assis Nogueira. The Municipal Civil Guard responded to reports of noise and located the suspect in the Arnaldo Leotta de Mello residential complex. During the pursuit, the suspect discarded a stolen notebook in a nearby abandoned property, which was later recovered. The individual admitted to the theft, stating his intent was to sell the items to purchase drugs. He was charged with qualified theft and remains in custody.
