Sacombank waives 1.7 billion VND debt for two orphans in Da Nang

Sacombank has announced the total waiver of a 1.7 billion VND debt for two orphaned children in Da Nang. The decision follows the tragic death of the children's parents in an electrical accident.

The debt, which included credit card balances held at the Sacombank Quang Nam branch, had become overdue after the parents' passing. By waiving the obligation, the bank ensures the children can retain their family home. Sacombank representatives also provided 10 million VND to assist with funeral arrangements.

Nguyen Van Sam, Director of Sacombank Quang Nam, stated the decision was based on humanitarian grounds and a desire to support the children as they face an uncertain future.
