Nermin Nikšić and Ramo Isak questioned in ‘Spengavanje’ corruption probe

Nermin Nikšić, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak have been questioned by the Special Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime (POSKOK) as suspects in the ‘Munjić and others’ investigation, also known as the ‘Spengavanje’ affair.

The investigation focuses on suspicions of abuse of office, influence peddling, and bribery. Central to the probe is the allegedly unlawful appointment of Vahidin Munjić as the acting director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP). Authorities are also examining the role of Muhamed Ohranović, who is suspected of acting as a mediator between the Prime Minister’s office and police structures.

Other individuals under investigation include Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, head of the Prime Minister’s cabinet, and Ervin Mušinović, director of the Police Academy. POSKOK confirmed that all suspects requested additional time to review the evidence, a request that was granted.
