Police arrest man in Madrid death; teenager rescued in Argentina

In Madrid, Spain, the National Police have arrested a man following the violent death of a 47-year-old woman in the Arganzuela district. Emergency services reported that the victim showed signs of strangulation. The arrest occurred after the individual contacted his child to report that he had committed a serious act and was waiting for the police to arrive.

In Argentina, a 17-year-old girl was rescued from a train track at the Ituzaingó station after attempting to take her own life. A Federal Police officer and railway workers intervened to pull her to safety just before a train departed. The incident caused a partial suspension of train services between Once and Castelar for approximately thirty minutes. The teenager was taken to a medical center for psychological support.
