Police arrest man with illegal weapon in Albania and detain speeding driver in North Macedonia

In Tirana, Albania, police concluded operation ‘Last Gun’ with the arrest of 32-year-old Renato Vuka. Authorities intercepted a Citroen DS3 on Collakët road, where they discovered an unlicensed pistol and ammunition. Officers also seized 15,800 euros, two mobile phones, and the vehicle. Vuka was arrested for illegal possession and production of weapons and ammunition, and the case has been referred to the prosecution.

In North Macedonia, a 35-year-old Dutch national was detained at the Tabanoc border crossing after being caught speeding. Using the ‘Safe City’ system, police identified that the individual was driving a Porsche with Dutch license plates at 168 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver was deprived of liberty and faces criminal charges for careless driving.
