Police arrest multiple suspects in New Zealand and Ireland burglary investigations

Police in New Zealand and Ireland have conducted operations resulting in multiple arrests related to burglary investigations.

In New Zealand, three individuals, including two youths, have been charged following a series of burglaries in the Northland region. The incidents involved commercial premises in Ruakākā and One Tree Point, where cash and alcohol were stolen. The suspects allegedly used stolen vehicles during the offences. A 19-year-old male faces charges of burglary and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, while a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old face similar charges.

In Ireland, Gardaí arrested four men during a managed containment operation on the M50 in west Dublin. The arrests followed the interception of a silver Volvo S40 believed to be linked to an organized burglary group involved in nationwide break-ins. Officers seized housebreaking implements, including gloves and face coverings, from the vehicle. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
