Latin American law enforcement conducts major narcotics and crime operations

Law enforcement agencies across Latin America and the Caribbean have conducted various operations targeting narcotics, document forgery, and violent crime.

In Honduras, authorities seized over 1.5 tons of cocaine in 48 hours near the Pacific coast, suggesting a shift in trafficking routes. Costa Rican police arrested two officers and a driver for allegedly facilitating the transport of 160 kilograms of cocaine through a container terminal. In the Dominican Republic, major operations in Santo Domingo Este resulted in 44 arrests and the seizure of over 13 kilograms of narcotics.
