Police arrest suspects following robbery and high-speed chase

A 59-year-old teacher was robbed of her mobile phone by a group of criminals in the western suburbs of Buenos Aires. The suspects, traveling in a black Renault Logan, fled the scene, triggering a police pursuit by the Morón Patrol Command.

The chase ended on Juan Manuel de Rosas Avenue when the driver lost control of the vehicle, mounting the sidewalk and crashing into an ice cream parlor, destroying outdoor tables and chairs. Following the collision, the four occupants abandoned the car and attempted to flee on foot. Police successfully detained two suspects, while two others remain at large.

In a separate incident in Neiva, Colombia, a 55-year-old woman was arrested after police discovered she was in possession of a stolen mobile phone during a routine check. Authorities verified the device's IMEI number, which flagged it as stolen. This arrest is part of an ongoing effort by the Neiva Metropolitan Police to combat the sale of illicit devices, having recovered 271 phones so far this year.
