Police arrest suspects in Bodrum drug bust and Nicosia rental scam

In Bodrum, Turkey, two individuals, identified as A. A. and S. U., were arrested following a narcotics operation. Police observed the suspects engaging in a drug transaction on the street. During subsequent searches of their vehicle and residence, authorities seized 7.5 grams of skunk and 43,600 Turkish Lira in cash. A third individual, M. L. B., was released under judicial control.

In Nicosia, Cyprus, police arrested two suspects, M. A. M. and B. S., for operating a fraudulent car rental website. The suspects used a fake web link to trick victims into transferring a total of 312,442 Turkish Lira to their IBAN accounts. Investigators determined the suspects were also laundering the proceeds of these crimes through their accounts. Both individuals have been taken into custody as investigations continue.
