Police arrest suspects in separate child sexual abuse cases

The victim reported being taken to an abandoned location near the Boa Vida Condominium, where she was allegedly assaulted and threatened with death. Medical examinations confirmed sexual penetration. The suspect has been referred to the Public Ministry.

In Espinho, Portugal, judicial police arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of child sexual abuse and child pornography involving a 13-year-old girl. The investigation revealed the suspect used social media to solicit multimedia content and arranged a physical meeting where the abuse occurred. The suspect, who has a criminal record, was released under judicial coercion, including requirements for periodic appearances and a prohibition on contacting the victim or her family.
