Police arrest suspects in two separate murder cases in Telangana

Police in Telangana have made arrests in two separate murder investigations.

In Hyderabad, Chaderghat police arrested 35-year-old Mohd. Ibrahim for the murder of Tahera Banu, a saleswoman at a clothing store in Azampura. Banu was attacked with a knife on October 9 and died later that night at Osmania General Hospital. Investigators believe the motive was a personal grudge stemming from a long-term relationship that the victim had reportedly begun to avoid.

In Kamareddy, authorities arrested a maid, B. Rajitha, and her husband, Narsing, for the murder of 66-year-old Ch Anasuya. The couple allegedly killed Anasuya on September 29 by strangling her with a towel to steal eight tulas of gold ornaments. Police recovered the stolen jewelry and noted that the maid had been employed at the victim's house for four years.
