Police arrest teenager over alleged sexual offences in Sydney

NSW Police have arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection with multiple alleged sexual offences occurring on walking trails in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The arrest followed a public appeal after several women reported incidents of sexual touching and harassment at Narrabeen Lagoon between October 1 and October 12.

Investigators from Strike Force Mexvo are looking into reports that a male suspect, allegedly riding an e-bike, approached women on trails, sexually touched them, and made inappropriate comments. Police are currently working to determine if the various reported incidents are linked.
