Latin American drug busts seize over 2,000 kg of cocaine and marijuana
Law‑enforcement operations across Latin America this week uncovered massive drug shipments. Argentine customs agents stopped a Paraguayan‑registered truck at the Salto Grande bridge in Concordia and seized 16 kg of cocaine hidden inside the vehicle’s chassis. The combined seizures total well over two metric tonnes of illicit substances, highlighting a surge in cross‑border trafficking and a coordinated regional crackdown.
